I love being a therapist and feel honored and grateful to do this meaningful, life-changing work. I am Relational Self-Psychology practitioner and Columbia University School of Social Work alumni. I am licensed in the states of Massachusetts and New York.
In my 20 years of clinical journey I have worked in variety of settings from underserved communities to well-off clients. I enjoy clinical work with the clients as well as to share my practice wisdom with other therapists in supervision work.
I have helped people to resolve anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. I have experience of helping those who are entrapped by addictions and those who have been effected by living around them. Working with Adult Children of Emotionally Immature/ Neglecting Parents, Adult Adult Children of Alcoholics/Addicts (ACOA) and people in long term recovery, on and on shows that very successful individuals have struggles and benefit from compassionate listening and therapeutic process that positively impact their emotional life and intimate relationships.
I believe successful psychotherapy relies on a unique relationship between a client and a therapist. Being understood creates a new and curative relational experience. Together we explore and nurture your needs, and create healthy paths of healing of traumas and wounds. I provide insight-oriented therapy with the belief that you, the client, are the expert on your own life. My role is to provide a safe space, gentle guidance and understanding of your journey.
As a result of this therapeutic process over time, the client develops an expanded affective range, greater self-reflective capacity and greater openness to others, leading to increase flexibility in behavior.
You are always welcome to connect with me and see if we are a good fit.
